e-MedRecords, Inc., formerly Pediatric Software Intl, Inc., has been in .business since 1990 producing the industry’s leading Electronic Medical Records
system (EMR).
Since its first delivery in 1994, e-Med has proven the effectiveness of its CompuKID
EMR in improving documentation, improving quality of care and improving physician revenue.
With a concentrated effort on ease-of-use and tech support, e-Med maintains its objective of keeping the customer satisfied. By listening to user requests
for new and improved features, keeping current on immunization scheduling guidelines and new products and continually offering assistance to its system users, e-Med will continue to be the industry leader.

TECHNICAL and MANAGEMENT STAFF
- Wendy Frieling, MD, FAAP - Medical Director,
Dr. Frieling received her MD from the University of Medicine and Dentistry of NJ and completed her pediatric residency at the University of Colorado/Denver Children’s Hospital. She worked as a staff physician for Kaiser Permanante’ in Boulder, CO followed by being named Assistant Professor of Pediatrics at the Unversity of Vermont where she was also the director of teaching in the newborn nursery. Dr. Frieling brings her medical background and over 10 years of expertise in computerizing-medicine and 5 years of running
CompuKID in university and private-practice settings.
- Edwin T. Carine, III - Director of Programming, has 32 years of computer programming and system design experienc. Ed, a former ITT military
programmer, received his Masters in Computer Science from Montclair State College.
- Sherrie Frieling - VP of Programming, has 25 years of computer programming and system design experience. Sherrie has won many awards for her
screen designs while working as a military programmer for DEC and Raytheon. Sherrie received her BS from Penn State with a major in mathematics.
- Ernest Rowell - Senior System Design Analyst, has 30 years of computer programming and system design experience. Ernie’s background is also as
a military programmer for DEC and Raytheon. Ernie holds several degrees included a BS in Computer Science from the University of Rhode Island.
- Daniel Frieling - President/CTO, has 21 years of computer programming and system design experience. His software engineering background has
everyone calling him a Technology Exploiter for his work in bringing handheld wireless technology into the exam room. Daniel’s computer training is from Grumman Data Systems Institute, run by Grumman Aerospace.
- John Silverberg - CFO, received his BA from Boston University in Economics and Finance. John has 18 years of experience on Wall Street working
with various financial firms. John has assisted building management teams while designing and implementing business strategies.
BOARD OF MEDICAL ADVISORS (non e-Med employees)
- Marcia Wishnick, MD, FAAP,
Dr. Wishnick is a former researcher for Lederle Laboratories and is currently a staff member of several major New York City medical institutions. She is a Professor of Genetics at NYU and a current CompuKID user.
- James Lustig, MD, FAAP,
Dr. Lustig sits on the Section on Computers and Other Technology (SCOT) for the American Academy of Pediatrics. Dr. Lustig is currently the Vice President of Medical Affairs at Toledo Children’s Hospital. He is highly regarded as an expert on the integration of computers into pediatric medicine.
